I can't even express how excited I am to make it to the first milestone in the P90X program. When I was at Day 1, it seemed like Day 30 was an eternity away. Now that I'm here, it seems like time flew by!
What has changed in the first 30 days?
I'm finding my hunger for working out again. In my late 20s, I was a gym rat who spent hours lifting, running, and stepping and was in the shape of my life. Now that I'm in my late 30s and those days are long gone, I've been searching for something that would motivate me to want to workout like that again. Finally, with the help of P90X, I'm reclaiming that gym rat (without the gym... for now).
I'm feeling stronger and seeing changes in measurements and on the scale. Last night my hubby was trying to tickle me (something I hate and he loves to do) and I put out my arm to hold him away. His response was, "Damn...look how you're flexing those biceps. You're getting ripped!" (SMILE!)
I didn't take pictures when I started because I guess I was somewhat skeptical that I'd even make it through the first 30 days, much less actually see results. I did weigh and measure myself and here are the results...
Weight: 6.6 lbs GONE!!
Hips: 1" GONE!!
Thighs: 0.5" GONE!!
Arms: 0.25" GONE!!
I'm going to take a 30 day picture so I can compare the results when I get to 60 days. Thank you P90X and Tony for motivating me to stick to it and push play everyday.
