Since July 12, I have succeeded in accomplishing:
emoticon30 Day Shred, every single day! Today is day 16, and day 6 of level two!
emoticonTwo trips to the gym for ST and short runs
emoticon 7KM trail – ran close to 2/3 of it (in 5-minute intervals)
emoticonStaying within my ranges almost every day, and getting over 20% protein MOST days

BUT, between now and Friday, July 23- I plan on pushing beyond my boundaries by tackling:
emoticonThe rest of Level 2 of the 30 Day Shred…starting Level 3 on Saturday
emoticonSeriously upping my protein, d@mn it!
emoticonRunning more of the 7KM trail
emoticon Strength training 2x
emoticon Short runs 2x

I also plan on taking good care of my body in the summer heat by doing these 3 things:
emoticonDrinking tons of water, as per usual
emoticonGetting lots of sleep – little sleep + really hot days + thunderstorms = HEADACHE CITY
emoticonHitting the gym twice for ST and short runs (yay air-conditioning!)

This week, the best way to encourage me is to stop by my page and tell me:
emoticonNo matter how hot or sweaty or tired I am, I CANNOT skip a day of shredding!

And when I find myself getting weak or giving in to temptation, I will remember that:
emoticonWhile I may enjoy certain food and drink while eating/drinking, I will generally pay for it by feeling crappy later.
emoticon If I skip a day of shredding, I will have blown my streak! 15 days straight! Over 1/2 done the shred! If I skip a day, I will make myself start all over again (LAME!)

This week's cardio is going to be inspired by Trix and Mere and Kristina and I'm going to do two short runs at the gym and run as much of the 7KM trail as possible once.

This week's strength workouts are going to be inspired by the fact that I’m starting to see my abs! and I'm going to do the shred every day and ST twice.

This week's stretching is going to be inspired by how flexible I was last summer from yoga and I'm going to do it every day.

This week's rest time is going to be inspired by Neil Pasricha (the author of the book I’m starting) and I'm going to read The Book of Awesome (by Pasricha).

The one thing that I am NOT going to do between now and midnight on Friday is:
emoticonGo over my caloric range!

P.S. I will post something shortly to update folks on my life, promise!
