So, yes, it has been several weeks, but in my defense, I have been working on finishing up school, and I have taken on another baby at work, so I have less free time there. I bought some orthotics for my shoes, and my plantar fasciitis has mellowed out quite a bit. It only hurts if I am on my feet too much or if I don't wear shoes at all. Lots of foot stretches!
It has been really hot here in Maine, and since the 4th of July, I have not been keeping track of exercise OR what I'm eating. I haven't GAINED anything, but I haven't LOST anything either...Will and I started the Fat Smash on Saturday, though, and it is cool to show him what to do. I'm sure the pounds will just melt off him, since he is used to eating whatever and however much he wants all day, every day. I don't think he really knows what it is like to be hungry! I adjusted some things for him, because of his diabetes, but his calories are 1500 or less a day - probably half of what he was eating before - so he should still see some results. Now that I'm back on track eating-wise, though, I really need to focus on my "bread-and-butter" - WORKING OUT! I just have to remember that it is actually nice and cool in the gym, I think. Plus, now that I don't have to worry about homework or classes, I have more time available. I just need to stop volunteering my time for this, that, and the other. I had a friend ask me if I could watch her baby at night, and I have such a hard time saying no, but I really need to.
My goal right now is to lose25 pounds by Dementia Five's first show - September 17. I know I can do it if I stick to the plan, so here goes nothin'!
