What's Up.....

Starting next Tuesday, I am leaving for a 2-month long project to build 3 bridges in a remote area on the forest where I work. I'm the project engineer and will be in charge of the construction project. This is the fun part of my job - when I actually get to get out and do something rather than plan, design, manage, and worry about the budget. So, I'm really looking forward to getting out!

My plan is to go more austere on the exercise - diet side of things. Mornings will be oatmeal, fruit and coffee only. Lunch will be fruit and protein. Dinner will be salads and maybe soup or something light.

The work site is about 40 miles from where I'm staying at a B&B with the const crew. I plan on taking my bike to the work site and riding the last 20 miles back each night. I'm also am taking weights to do my lifting routine on days I don't ride. I'll have internet so I can keep in touch here - I'll send pictures!

    Sounds like a great plan. You say you will ride the last 20 miles back each night - Does that mean that you'll ride the first 20 miles there each morning??? I'm sure you'll have some great pictures to share. Have a safe trip. emoticon
