I am drowning in the Summer Challenge that I took on! I had to do a spreadsheet in order to keep up need points because it is a contest! The good news is that I am tracking even more of what I am eating, and I am learning a lot. Like this one fact. See if you can answer this. Check with Minty for the correct answer.

Here is the answer to the health question I am smart!

Your body can store energy from food for future use in two ways: 1) as fat and 2) as muscle fuel (called glycogen). Its first priority is to fill its glycogen tanks, because glycogen is the body's primary source of energy for physical activity. Once your glycogen stores are filled and the rest of the body's energy needs are covered, all the extra energy from your food will be stored as body fat.

My Mom gives me a new challenge every day, and I like it.

    A Spreadsheet is a great idea! Thanks...now can someone tell me how to make a spreadsheet?!?!? No, I'm serious!!!! Really, I'm not kidding!!

I think I have joined way too many SparkTeams. It is so hard to keep up with them all. School starts back in 3 weeks (I'm a teacher-----I retire after this one--woo-hoo)!!! I'm thinking of dropping out of some of the teams and just sticking with the most active ones. What do you think?

    Wow, you have made the 8 glasses of water a habit and look at those step numbers! If you felt overwhelmed you handled it very well, making a spreadsheet to manage everything.
I have to work on handling overwhelmed feelings, sometimes I don't use the most positive approach.

    I do the same thing! I have a spreadsheet that I start fill in from the Nutrition Planner. I then add water intake and exercises for the day. Takes all the "thinking" out of my day once I've done my morning planning.
