Turning point

I've been a member of Sparkpeople since 2006 in name only. Towards the end of May I came back and I'm starting again.
Long term--I'd like to lose 100 pounds by this time next year and not be afraid I won't fit into a plane seat. Build my confidence that I can achieve my goals and get my self respect back.
Medium term--I want to fit back into my slacks again and get out of blue jeans! (about 20 pounds away). Walk the CVille Women's 4 Miler in September in less than 90 minutes.
Action steps: continue exercising 35 minutes or more 5-7 times per week, continue tracking my food, drinking my water, reading everything I can on Sparkpeople, giving encouragement to others, get back in the 4 miler training on Saturdays.

    Oh gosh Lin - I actually changed hairdressers because I couldn't fit in to the salon chairs. They were that sort of U shape. What Luigi was thinking when he put them in I don't know. Or maybe he only wants skinny clients? emoticon

    Hey Lin, That fear of plane seats makes me crazy! I love your action steps. I'm a little nervous about putting a time limit on goals, as opposed to just focusing on your action steps, but I have no doubt that you can do what you set your mind to. Keep us updated on the training. I am sure it will go great. Just listen to your body. You can do this!
