Vacation, Rounds 2 and 3 are getting closer! I'm super excited because there are so many fun things in store. I'm also super nervous. Vacation always brings with it more opportunities to eat out.
It is so difficult to eat healthy while out. I'm always amazed by how many calories even a salad can be in a restaurant.
I'm also worried about getting my cardio in. Vacations always mean extra walking and activity, but it's not the same. I have been doing interval running on the treadmill at the gym. (I want to eventually be able to run 3 miles each day.) This week I'm running for 1/2 mile stretches. What is going to happen to that if I don't make it to the gym regularly?! Ugh.
Don't get me wrong - vacation, rounds 2 and 3 is going to be SO MUCH FUN! There are still so many other weeks in the year to be on track, but I don't want to blow my progress. It was so cool to weigh in this morning and find that I had lost 2.2 pounds last week!!! I don't want to gain it back. I've worked so hard!
I'm going to do everything that I can to prevent a downward spiral. I'll need the support of my vacation buddies (ahem, mom!) and my SparkFriends, though!!!
