Wow what a list! They would be great for your visual poster of where you see yourself one day. Big long term goals.

Sometimes I wish I were someone different. Decide that I am going to change and BAM! Just do it. LOL Or all the things. BAM BAM BAM! My journey has been gentle and slow. I was like a toddler learning to walk. Unlearning bad habbits and learning new ones. Baby steps. My biggest accomplishment was learning to do anything healthy, consistently. Every day. I'd try then forget, give up, not care. I don't even know why sometimes I could not. Spark People had me setting little tiny goals. Can I get fit by doing only ten minutes of exercise a day? No, probably not. But by trying to find something small to do every day I learned to brainstorm and I learned that I can do ten minutes of exercise a day and ten minutes is better than no minutes. So that feeling of all or nothing changed in me. Instead it is good, better, best. Yup, would love to do an hour workout but if I can't then I can do a short walk and if I can't then I can at least do a couple of reps with my hand weights. Yup, love to do a bible study, but if I can't then I can read a chapter of my Bible and if I can't then I can read the devotion of the day or write down something I am grateful for. Yup, would love to eat perfectly but if I can't, then make sure I eat three real meals a day and if I can't then eat three fruits and veg. a day. It is no longer about perfection for me. It is about celebrating each step towards my goal. Every time I make a choice to DO something no matter how small is a success. I may not see huge changes but they are changes in the right direction and I feel good about myself. No more beating myself up. I think God would not give me a hard time about my failures so why should I? He would grab me up and hug me for each step I make towards Him.
