I know what I need to do to lose this weight. I know what I need to do to eat healthier. I know how much better I feel when I walk and drink all my water.
SO, why am I not doing it? Why does it feel like torture to make the right choices concerning food and exercise?
I am making too many excuses and it is time to stop and do what I know is best for me.
Daily goals for now:
Walk (even if it is just to walk the dogs)
Drink my water
Bigger goal:
Get rid of the food in the house that is not good for me!

Hoping writing this down will help me get motivated!

    emoticon emoticon The hardest part sometimes is putting on the tennies and stepping out the front door. Once you do that, you're likely to keep moving and walk. Sometimes you need to tell yourself, "Just ONE block." And sometimes that's all you do, one block. But more often you'll get to the end of that one block and then decide to walk just one more... and one more... until you're done a decent 15, 20, even 30 minutes. YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!!!!

    Just take that first step out the door. Tell yourself that you are only going to walk a short distance. Once you're out there, chances are you will want to make it worth your while and walk a little further. Anything is better than nothing. And remember what they say here on SP: "baby steps." So, don't be so hard on yourself, just get started doing something. I've always resisted exercise, big time! I have found the encouragement here on SP helps me to get up and get moving. I read a lot of blogs. I keep seeing that everyone else seems to be able to do it, so should I. On another note, what are you reading right now? I am reading Blink, by Ted Dekker. Have a great weekend and good luck on your goals.

    Find someone who will be your buddy on Sparks. So you and her can do it to-gether. Encourager each other. Give goodies to each other when you lose or lose inches.The goodies on here are a very good encourager. Sometimes that works instead of a group. You may need that one to one friend.

The water is good. I am going that avenue also.

    It will help! It will! You could also post these goals somewhere in your house and let your family know about your goals (if they are the supportive type) Get James to help!!

Drink that water, girlie. It will help get you the rest of they way!
