Judge not lest you be judged!

Saturday, July 10, 2010

Saw a very large woman in the supermarket today, spending a long time browsing and gazing in the cake and goodies section. For people who have never been big or felt an addiction to overeating, it is very easy to judge this kind of behaviour. I remembered pain she may have been feeling. In those hazy days we believe food can drug the pain. To be responsible about this, without offending people, perhaps I could have asked supermarket management if I could distribute sparkpeople material. After being on such a journey, I felt it hard to let this incident pass without some consideration. How many of us would say or do anything? Should we or is it none of our business?

hhhmmm good question...... Perhaps I would just smile and ask if she had any suggestions of whats her favourite and let the conversion guide itself and hoped that there was an opportunity in the conversation to give some words of love and encouragement if I thought she could use it.

I have learned the hard way myself never to give advise unless asked so I guess that's why I would go about it this way.

just my point of view.

hope the new year is treating you kind, I've been away awhile but now I am back.

hope the new year brings you all the success your heart desires
