Is it just me or are weekends harder?? I am going to conquer this weekend. I will lose this weekend!! I am going to take little doggy to the river and go for a hike in the morning when it is not 100 out!! It is suppose to be a hot weekend!! I also have some work to do in my garden. I guess the cages I got for the tomato plants are too small. When I went out there this morning a few of the plants were laying on the ground. They are huge!! What are you going to do this weekend?

    I don't know about harder - but hotter is not making it any better. You can do it though. Just do it slower and carry lots of water. Go gorgeous.

    Anytime I'm not in my Mon-Fri work routine, it's harder for me. I was on vacation this week at home and really struggled with my eating and exercise. Hope you had a good time at the river with your pooch!

    Last weekend I went dancing , next weekend I am going dancing -this weekend I intend to stay home , review my goals and brain storm some new plans to put in effect on Monday. Hope you have a nice weekend! Joy

    Yes, weekends are harder--less structured and easier to get off track, at least that is the way it seems for me! Tomato plants can become GINORMOUS very quickly. Hard to believe that wimpy little seedling you plant can take over the whole garden in a few months and be too big for the cages! Your plan sounds good to me, it's going to be pretty warm here, too.

I am running/walking a 5K tomorrow, I'm so excited! I did my first 5K in May as a walker; this one I'm going to run as much as I can, though I know I won't be able to run the entire thing. If I can run at least half of it, I'll be very happy. Woo hoo!

    We have a big swim meet tomorrow and Sunday is always work around the house day.

At least I am taking tomorrow off work.

    I plan on getting some great workouts done this morning too as soon as hubby goes and plays golf... I'll tell you I didn't allways use cages for my tomato plants. They did just fine. I was told by someone who had been growing a garden for decades that the tomatoes do just fine on the ground. you could put news paper of straw under them to help with the weeds.. I have done it and have gotten great results.. and now I must say I'm totally jealous.. I love Home Grown Tomatoes.. (thats a song title too..LOL) You could steak them too.. if you don't want them on the ground. Have fun in your garden.. it sounds hot out.. I hope you can find a way to stay cool.

    You know I really want to go to the beach and have a kind of lazy weekend. But I think we will be going to Houston to the veggy market. And then buying some tile. We will probably spend the weekend tiling our bathroom...not that much fun!!!

You know we got bigger cages the 2nd year we did the garden and they still are not big enough. Before they all started dying last week ours were over 6 feet tall!! My father in law makes his own and they seem to be sturdy enough for when the plants get bigger. Not sure the ones at the stores are ever strong enough. Good luck with it though!!!

    super hot weekends are great for stretching cause your muscles are all warmed up! I'm going to stretch all weekend. You have a happy productive one too!!!!!!
