12 Weeks.

emoticonHave been without a cigarette for 12wks now so I guess I am considered smoke free. Now I ca work on getting back on track with my weight loss program.Healthy eating is now my #1 priority.My goal for this week is to get back into the habit of drinking 64 oz's of water each day.Next week will work on something else.

    That is GREAT! I quit smoking in '90 after more than 40 years of puffing and I know how hard it is to stop!

  I like you am 12 weeks free of smoking, I miss it the most after meals; so I call someone or come on the computer. Keep up the good work. We both deserve a pat on the back. I have not lost any weight yet but I have not gained any either. I have not been able to exercise but go to the pulmonary doctor on the 19th, and maybe he will give me the okay to start something. emoticon emoticon

    What a magnificent thing to do. You should be very proud of your accomplishment. I never smoked but have many friends who did and quit. They said it was the most difficult thing to do.

    Huge win. It must feel good to not be attached to such an insidious little concoction as the cigarette. I started up three years ago and it really is a powerful, harmful addiction. I would imagine you could lease a car with the money you've saved.

    Good job!!! I have done it and still to this day am cigarette free!! I know I am a puff away from a pack a day! If you never take another puff you will never be a smoker again. Hang in there it is hard but you can do it!!
