its a hot summer...

..and i continue to address health issues, kid-related issues, school, and trying to maintain some level of healthy nutritional is so very hot outside, it is unfortunately near to impossible to get out like i need/want to each day to engage in physical activity...I cannot be out in the heat as it causes my menieres and my brain tissues to react negatively..not a good i am rlegated to more mundane efforts at weight control such as washing the car, walking the dog short distances, or exercising in the house...blah...but hopefully, when the weather improves i will be back outside on a more regular basis...
My children offer me such joys and challenges due to their special needs...they increase my stress level exponentially yet offer me sweet relief when they give me those special hugs and kisses...or simply behave, which is a rare phenomenon
My school work continues to languish as i struggle to stay even one iota motivated to complete it...i have to do it but its like pulling teeth right now...I am hoping that by partnering with a dissertation coach I will be able to see the end of the road more clearly and regain my once-high level of enthusiasm...heres hoping...
Ok, that brings me to weight...i have regained the pounds I lost secondary to surgery and sickness, and I am maintaining a healthy weight, however, with limited activity I am having to really manage intake to the nth degree...when i was younger i could eat absolutely anything i desired without gaining an ounce, now i look at something tempting and i seem to gain a pound or two...its hard to adapt to my changing metabolism, but i intend to keep on the straight and narrow as much as possible...
Here's hoping to a successful second half of 2010...
