I've got better things to do...

Wednesday, July 07, 2010

I feel invigorated with a new life. It feels so good, because it is a reward well earned. I worked really hard to lose the 20 lbs. I eat well. I gave up some of my favorite things. Cream and sugar in my coffee, tomato and mayo sammies... I wake early so that I can exercise and let me tell you I don't like swimming or going to yoga... but I give them my best every time and well, it is paying off. I look better every day, I feel better everyday. Exercising is still hard, but I am getting better at it. I am no as sore after a work out. Sometimes I have to try really hard to get out of breath... unless I am swimming. I don't have to try at all for that to be difficult...

What I am saying is I am proud of myself for taking the challenge. For quitting smoking and getting my life back together the old fashion way, with determination and drive and by eating less and working out more. A simple equation for a healthier life.

Thank you Spark People.

Quiting smoking is a tough deal and I am so proud of you! I quit chewing tobacco after 35 years and I know the habit is tough to kick. It takes a short time to start feeling so much better! Keep exercising and eating right and the sky will become your limit! emoticon emoticon emoticon
