Last night after we put the boys to bed I sat on our back porch and watched the fireworks for a neighboring town. From our porch I could see the high ones above the trees. After a while DH realized where I was and joined me. It was nice to just sit quietly holding hands watching the fireworks.

And speaking of fireworks we will be walking to ours today. Its a LONG walk like over 4 1/2 miles one way. I am not sure what we are going to do with the kids yet. Bebe is 15 months old 26.5 lbs and 34.25 inches long which means he is too big for the baby bjorn. SN son gets tired after a bit and will definitely not be able to walk all that way and we have only 1 stroller and even if we did spend $ we dont have on one of those little $10 strollers bebe wouldn't fit... he is 100% for height and 75% for weight. I don't know that SN son understands how to ride piggy back and definitely doesn't know how to sit right on his daddy's shoulders. We will have to think about that one.

Anyway I am hoping it will be a nice day and that the rain comes early enough so that the fireworks still happen tonight!
