In January, I joined SP's 50 pound challenge. I failed miserably. But, the ladies on there are so motivating and helpful that I do not feel like a looooooser. Instead, I feel motivated and rejuvenated. I signed up again today for the next 6-month challenge. This time, I will do it. My healthy *ideas* are starting to become habit. I can look at a hamburger and not be tempted. I have all the tools, all the support. This time, I can do it. To lose 50 pounds in 6 months, I have to really focus on things.
The biggest change I'm going to make (which I tried out yesterday) is that I will no longer go out to eat for lunch every day. Our office closes for the lunch hour, so I need to go somewhere each day. Instead of going out for lunch (which is always either Mexican, pizza, pasta, or deli), I will go to the gym (located in my building), and take a sandwich to eat after. This will save me money, gas, time, and will be much healthier. My coworker likes the idea, so she may join me which would help ;)
