I recently joined a group of MOMS (Mother's of Military ServicePeople) and at last night's meeting they asked for volunteers for a fashion show. This is a fund raiser for breast cancer where they bring in a known designer and have different groups in the area pick 10 people to be the models. I have to tell them in two months what size I am so they can pick out an outfit for me. Then I get to go try it on a couple weeks before the show so they can make any adjustments. The day of the show, we get there at 8 or 9 in the morning and there will be make up people and hair dressers for us to get really "pretty". Because we are a military group, we will have one of our military folks in full uniform escort us part way down the run way and we get to carry large pictures of our family members on the cat walk.
Do you see where the incentive comes from--designer clothes means I want to be about 3 sizes smaller than I am currently, so I am off to do my crunches!
Have a wonderful 4th--stay safe!!
