June's Accomplishments/July
's Goals

Friday, July 02, 2010

It's hard to believe that another month is gone. Not only another month, but half the year. Right now it's hot and no one really cares about going out and walking or running, but before long we won't want to go out because it's too cold. Are we ever really truly happy? I would like to think so, even with all our complaints about the weather and other things.

So my June accomplishments. I have to say I didn't have very many. I really let my program slide. I hardly did any formal exercise, that is not to say I didn't get exercise, just not so many minutes of crunches, or lunges or what ever type of exercise I should have been doing. I also didn't walk as much as I normally do and I upped my calorie intake. Do I feel bad? Did I beat myself up? NO, NO, NO! I didn't drop any more weight, but on the up side I didn't gain any. I know I would be fine at the weight I am at this moment, but the little voice in the back of my head says no, let's get rid of some more. So out with June and welcome July.

I did accomplish plenty of things in and around the house last month. The new bath was officially finished, the front landscape was officially finished and the back landscape was started. Now the back probably won't be finished this year because it is now too hot to put in new plants and the type I want I don't think I'll be able to get for fall planting, but come spring, LOOK OUT!

July is back to walking at least 45 minutes 6 days a week and 20 minutes of strength training 3 times a week. Also, go back to 1200 calories a day and stay there. These are easy goals because this was my beginning program. It worked and I'm sticking to it. My other goal for July, is to grow my soap/lotion business and my consulting business. It looks like July will be busy, busy, busy! That's the way I like it!

As I've said plenty of times. If you get off program, it's OK, realize what you've done and get back on. The worst thing you can do is talk down to yourself. Don't be your own worst enemy, give that job to someone else. LOL!!

Hope you all have a grand 4th of July celebration.
