Looking for a new blog so I am going backwards in dates. Hope to hear from you soon and keep up the good work in loosing your weight. Focus on the healthy life style and I know you can do it. Eat healthy, exercise daily and have a healthy outlook on life. God bless you always. Love the Spar people and learn.
Ive been having a hard time with eating in general. It changes with my mood swings. When I'm happy, I forget to eat and when I'm sad I eat to much. I really need to focus on what my body is telling me.I learned from an online health article that a good practice is to view your body's hunger on a scale. 0-5. 0: not hungry at all, 5: starving (haven't eating in days). He said that anything under 3 (getting tired, stomach growling) isn't really hunger but impulse eating. I am going to try this idea and see if it works. My only concern is I can go days on just drinking cranberry juice and not be at a three. So we willllll seee!!! love you family! Mal
The wine monster lurks in the shadows drawing me to the dark side.....eat just one more chip with the yummy artichoke dip...just a small piece of desert!! So I guess you know where this is leading. When I have more that one glass of wine all my healthy life style commitments are derailed. SSSSOOO this week I am concentrating on partaking of wine to one glass per episode...I have noticed that if I drink two...my munchies flare up BIG TIME!! ( I say episode because I don't usually drink every day...just 2 to 3 X per week). Jan and Mom
My weight loss has been very gradual which is good so the only difference I see is in the waist line and how many notches on my belt I need . Also 36's are to big so I am a 35 with 34's waiting in my closet for me.
I want to have more energy and be able to hike more with less fatigue and I figure it has to help my back alot if I lose 20 lbs. When I hike I KNOW what carrying an extra 20lbs feels like!
