I am alive!

Craaazy week. I have realized, if I want to get atleast 7 hours of sleep there's no way I can log on to SP during the week. Between 3 hours of commute everyday, 9 hours at work and one hour at the gym, all the time left is spend cooking dinner, breakfast and lunch(done at night for the next day). I do use the SP iPhone app to track some food though. Like I said, I am not tracking everything now. I end up overestimating portions and starving myself. I only track things I am not sure about. After all, I lost 50lbs (yeah, I crossed that mark today!!!) using SP, I know by now the calories in my staples. Also, I am good at math, so I can usually do it in my head so I am somewhere between my calorie range.

Last weekend was crazy though. I was attending an Indian wedding and let me tell you, the food at those is far from healthy. I was staying at the groom's place(who is a cousin) for 3 days and all I ate was fried food. I think it is still better (healthier) than say fast food or restaurant crap. And it was sooo good. I did not track anything because I wouldn't have known how to, but I ate in moderation. Good thing Indians don't serve meat at weddings. I went for the lentils and veggies and took it easy on the naan, bread etc. I also went running 2 days and walked around a lot helping the family.

And I lost weight! I was hoping for a 4lbs loss after 2 weeks but I'll take 3lbs too, thankyouverymuch.

In other news, I had some sort of mental block yesterday about running, I couldn't go on after 5 minutes while at this stage of c25k I am supposed to be running for 20 min. So, I remembered about listening to your body and thought I should stop. But then I thought what if it's in my head? So I decreased my pace and told myself to do 5 more minutes. I kept at this and was able to finish 20 min! Sigh, I know I am easily amused, but this was the highlight of my week.

Ok, gotta get ready for work now. Will read all your blogs tomorrow! I missed you.
