I miss home a little bit today since it's Canada Day. But I'm trying not to think about it too much.
Stuck with healthy stuff for food today, although I know I will overeat at dinner because I am still not able to keep myself to "reasonable" portion sizes, especially with carbs. Rice is *meant* to be eaten by the bucketful, I'm sure of it.
But I went for a walk on my lunch break today. Only ten minutes but it's something. Got my butt outside on a pretty day and circled the parking lot. I'm trying to set up a weekly walking date with a friend, but she's not sure she can commit. It's so much easier when you have someone else doing it with you!
I also spread a little Spark today by giving a coworker the address for the Sparkpeople website. I mentioned my new 8-cups-of-water goal and she said something about needing to diet - so I told her there's a better way and told her to try out the site. Hope she gives it a shot!
