Well, a lot has changed and I've gotten far away from my health and weight loss goals. So I'm back and I'm going to try harder to make it stick. I know it's important. It's not just to look better, it's to FEEL better. To BE better. I need to figure out exactly what my goals are and what my motivation is, and maybe then it'll be easier to keep the Spark going. I'm going to ponder those questions and get the answers on here, in writing, so I can hold myself accountable and maybe have some friends help remind me of them from time to time.

I'm starting slowly, trying to get some streaks going to encourage myself. I'm working on the 8 cups of water plan, and getting in two servings of vegetables daily. Started tracking my food again, too, which will help a lot. Getting in 10 minutes of exercise is a tougher one, because I'm usually so tired all the time (and I'm lazy, I admit it). But it needs to be done.

So, I got my 8 cups of water and my vegetables in, and I haven't even had dinner yet! I did slip at a work party and have 2 cupcakes, but I also had a few handfuls of veggies (without dip!) and I turned down the fried chicken and biscuits.

Baby steps.
