This morning I found this challenge for the week in my Sparkmailbox:
Go through your kitchen cabinets and your refrigerator. Remove all the junk and your trigger foods. Why leave anything around to tempt you? Be strong and get rid of it.
2. Go to at least 3 team members pages, at least 3 times this week and read their page and give them some support or encouragement or let them know how well you think they're doing. It's a fun way to get to know others a little better.
3. Faithfully track all your food this week.
If you bite it, write it.
If you snack it, track it.
If you nibble it, scribble it.
If you drink it, ink it.
Use your pencil before your utensil.
4. Weigh and measure all your food this week. It's amazing how our perception of a serving size really is. I bet you'll be surprised at how much or little you are actually eating. Too far in either direction can really change our intake and make a difference on the scale.
5. Continue to work on fitness minutes. Try to increase what you did last week by just 10 minutes each day.
This is from my Northern Va Sparkers team. The challenge starts today. I think that all 5 parts of this challenge are very doable for me. There should be no reason why I can't do this. So this is what I am going to shoot to do daily. Today after work, I will complete #1.
For #2, I love to meet new people & I look forward to doing that challenge!
#3 is always a problem for me but I'm going to attempt to do it. I am going to give this my best effort.
I guess if I am going to continue to attend WW's, #4 will be really important. I have to figure out where I put my WW scale that I used to use.
For #5, I plan to do redo W1D1 this evening and before I leave work, I want to get 10 minutes of walking in. I also want to use my hand weights (3lbs for now) as well.
I'm excited about doing this challenge. I think it will give me just the jump start I need to stay focused this week. After all, this week ends one month and starts the beginning of a new one. I'm going to do this.
I will blog daily about my progress. I WANT to do this!
here we go...
