Still going.

Sunday, June 27, 2010

I had a great talk with a FB friend today. It was really cool. But I got to get out my brand new pedometer and actually measure things out the past couple of days.

I have a new puppy, who I hope someday will be my running buddy. He's a mutt, but looks like black lab. His name is Zed. Yesterday, I only got in about a mile before the pup (who we're training on a leash) pooped out. Today I got 9532 steps, which turns out to be 3.15 miles. go me..lol

I then got home, bought a new no frills scale. Weighed myself for the first time in a while, and I weigh 245. Not bad.

The baby is doing great. She was born May 11th. 6lbs, 15oz. Beautiful little girl. Her name is Leona Rose Tibble. My daughter was able to graduate. here's a pic of them

the only goal I haven't been making for myself, is the water intake. But I'm stepping up my working out, and working on my water intake. My food is doing great. 1200 calories, no junk. :) yeah me... it's been several months now, and I don't even desire it anymore. I do have to say, I think my next tweak to my diet is going to be getting rid of pasta/rice. I don't do bread anyways. maybe cut out dairy.. I dunno about that. I will start with the pasta/rice thing.

Sorry it's been so long, but I've never quit, I am still going. :)

You granddaughter is adorable! You must be so proud. I'm glad your daughter got through her pregnancy without any further complications and was able to graduate - that's one less thing to worry about.

I'm glad you're still here, even if you don't have time to blog very often. I'm sure you have more than enough on your plate to keep you busy. Take care of yourself and I hope to hear from you again soon.

And your daughter and her baby are beautiful. Congrats to you and her--and congrats on her high school graduation. It's so important. Cheers!
