It's benn one month since I came off my diabetes meds. I am having to learn what foods that I can eat, since I don't have the meds to help me out when I blow it. My sugars have ranged from 81-180. The higher readings were when I was sick. I have learned that if I eat any sweets to eat them early in the day. I am on one kind of med that I take at bed time with a snack. I have found that 100 calorie popcorn will have a lower reading than animal crackers. Now my goal is; 1) To stay off diabetes ned. & 2) To come off high blood pressure pills.
