The Good Times are Killing Me...

Summer is finally here and there is so much to do and not enough time in the day. This morning Laura came over and we went for a run through Avery park. I love running with Laura, she keeps a good pace and always has something interesting to say.
Softball season has begun and after a year off, I couldn't be happier! Reunited and it feels so good. I can't believe I spent a season off. I am filling in for another team tonight, I just can't get enough! It is awesome to see how my most recent investment in my health pays off in my softball practice. I run faster, hit harder, I cover more ground in the field. And it is hard to get out of breath, when in years past it was so hard to catch my breath!
I am in great shape, I was telling George last night I feel like I am in the best shape that I have ever been. I am not sure if that is totally true, but I think I took my health for granted in the past, but never again. While I am not in training mode, I do make sure that I am physical for at least an hour a day, but usually two. Whether I am biking, gardening, or doing push ups I make sure that I make time for me. And it pays off every day.
