My friend steph and I have begun working out together. we've combined our mutual boredom and created a great healthy relationship!
Last monday, she and I biked to walmart, and I came back with 2 eight pound dumbells, a yoga mat, a weighted bally ball, and a pedometer! I was so proud, we've already had 2 full body workouts using the ball since then. my body was really ripped up after the first day, so I gave myself a 2 day rest and took in loads of yummy protein. I'm still a little sore but we got back on track yesterday with our second full body workout. she's been showing me so many new exercises. to think, i'd never done a squat before! she also showed me how to do crunches and sit ups on the ball, which i'd never done before, and i hadn't even started doing because I'd been so afraid! now my abdominals are sore as hell, but that is fantastic, because I finally found a way of working them out within my comfort zone. :D
