I promised I would update my goals via a blog post so here goes:
•Exercise a minimum of 30 minutes 5 days per week
had a great week with the exercise - minimum of 30 minutes and most days much more
•Drink at least 10 – 8 ounce glasses of water daily
this is one of my easiest - water is my number one drink of choice with iced tea running a very close 2nd
•Stay within calorie and nutrient goals daily
just checked my weekly summary and not so great there - went over on 3 days but also had extreme exercise minutes on those days - still - no weight loss - figure it out!
•Continue to work toward running a 5K – currently on Week 4
oAfter warm up – run 4 minutes, walk 1 X 4 intervals
got this done and I am stoked - I am ready for my 20 minute run this week
oNext week – run 5-20 minutes
•Target to lose 1 pound per week and reach 138 or less by the end of the battle
no loss this week - never give up - never give up - stay the course
•Ride my bike at least one day per week for at least 30 minutes
Yep, two rides of a bit over 30 minutes and 6.5 miles each - building calluses
•Attend Boot Camp twice a week
YES and YES - love my Boot Camp and Boot Camp pals!
•Take a Bikram Yoga class during this 8 Week Battle – something new and challenging
•Spend 15 minutes per day doing some cleaning and organizing in my apartment
OK, not the best - avoidance issues there - will have to pick it up (pun intended) this week
•Spend a minimum of 3 hours weekly submitting job applications for a minimum of 5 applications submitted as required by my unemployment office
•Track these goals weekly via blog to let my teammates know where I am
Done - keep looking - a job would be a good thing!
•Be willing to admit when I need help and ask
Ok, so there is room for improvement and I am up for the challenge! It really was a pretty good week. I have a half marathon this weekend and I am ready to tackle it! I will be back next week to update again!
