June Check-up

At the beginning of the month, I made a few goals. Here's how I'm doing:

Running: I need to be running 5 miles at the end of June. Preferably at a 12-13 mm: I'm running 3 miles consistently, 4 on weekends. I'm sure I'll do a 5-mile run by the end of the month :)

ST: consistently ST 3/x week: I changed this to 2 days a week and have been good about that.

Weight: lose at least 1 pound per week (to help me reach a goal of under 200 by end of July): I'm still struggling. My clothes do fit a lot better, but I can't stop eating!!! emoticon

All in all, I feel okay about how I'm doing. I'm going to focus on these goals to finish off the month strong. emoticon

    running...congrats on what you've accomplished so far on the mileage. give yourself a pat on the back!!!

ST...good for you on making adjustments. 2 days works great for me too but sometimes i'll add another day...when i'm feeling strong!'s good to have a doable goal. for me i've stopped focusing on weight and just try eat healthy most of the time and stay within cal range. the weight eventually comes off but without the obsessing and just remembering it's all about a healthy lifestyle.

i just read a great tip on someones page...if you want to eat (fill in the blank)..ask yourself firtst, it you want to eat it or zip up your pants. emoticon
