Low GI is working

Less than 3 weeks on the low glycemic diet and I've lost 8 lbs. I'm thrilled. But I can see it's slowing down a little bit, and that means I have to watch portion sizes a little more closely. Lots of eating out during the last maybe that's the reason it's slowing down. It's hard to put together a LGI meal when it's a potluck and everyone brings high GI foods. I have a good friend who is finally learning I simply can't eat sugar/white flour/high fat....I'm so happy my fasting glucose is coming down, too, so I'm sticking with it.
