We are taught by everyone we meet. Sometimes what we learn is good. But many times what we learn is bad, of no value, causing turmoil and stress in our life. Where can we find the best teachings? To live right and learn to do good works is what the New Testament is all about. 2 Tim 3:16-17 tells us, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is PROFITABLE for doctrine (what to belive), for reproof (what's wrong), for correction (how to correct a wrong), for instruction (to teach us) in RIGHTEOUNESS (Right Living): that the man of God may be perfect (complete), thoroughly furnished (equipped) unto all good works". Scriptures are given to help Christians grow spiritualy, physically and mentally in maturity. Christ is the example we to follow (1 Pet 1:21). So how are we measuring up?
