Why is it that evil always triumphs over good?

Friday, June 18, 2010

Just a little vent here. I am in the teaching profession and am currently trying to get hired on as a teacher. There were 6 of us who applied for the open position at the school. One of us who had been an assistant at that school for several years. Anyways after the principle had said she wouldn't hire a first year teacher in first grade, she hired one. This was the one in the group of us that had backstabbed the teacher she was working with and played the pity card saying I need this job or I won't be returning to the school. Is it really fair that she was given the opportunity? No...It seems as if this is a reoccuring pattern in the school. The other first year teacher from last year was another one who ratted out other teachers. I'm not that type of person to go and tattle. Me and another girl have gone above and beyond and always helped out when asked. How come neither one of us were able to get the job for doing things the right way? Just frustrating.

It's the same in our school system. It's all in who you "know" So sorry this has happened to you. Don't give up . . . there are better places and you will find one.

Hugs. You didn't get the job because you would never survive in a terrible environment such as that. Your job is waiting for you and it will be one that you love.

Pay Grade comes to mind, and its the children who lose, not because of a first year hire, it is who they hire. If its a private school, hope the parents are paying attention because seems they aren't getting their monies worth.

I agree, they may have done you a favor.

Maybe you should count yourself lucky that you didn't get the job. Sounds like a very toxic working environment, which isn't something I'd like to work in. You might be destined for bigger and better pastures.

Hope things improve on the job front.

If it appears that evil is winning over good, then you know you are in a battle and the war is still being won. Maybe that isn't the school for you or the environment to fulfill your spirit. Sometimes when a door is closed another one is opened. Is this the only school in the area. Maybe you will have to travel, but the school you should be working at, the school that has been waiting for someone just like you is out there. Don't give up, good will win the war! Besides do you want to work right next to the tattle tails emoticon
