I RAN 4.5 MILES! I can't frickin believe it. It was on the elliptical so I know that is easier than road but I was going 7.5-8.0 MPH and that to me is running! I was DRIPPING with sweat. It was almost as much or as much as when we do Zumba. I feel great. I think I could've gone longer. Me and my work out buddy (she's the best ever and half the reason I'm winning at this) are going to run a half marathon in April for the OKC bombing memorial. I am pumped. I've never ran a marathon. This is a huge milestone for me. I am really excited. I am trying to eat healthy. I added some nutrients I want to watch on my SP page. Sodium is one....HOW IN THE WORLD DO PEOPLE EAT LESS THN THE RECOMMENDED AMOUNT?!?! wow. I had no idea it was that out of control for me. I am glad I noticed because I dont want to cause myself to be even more prone to heart disease...(I am a woman and I have a long line of heart disease in my family) My calcium is hard for me too. I guess I am going to have to take supplements for that. I'm just thankful for Sparkpeople. I am going to get healthy! I'm not even thinking about that number on the scale right now...although I'm sure I will be tomorrow. ha.
