In this respect, by diet I mean how we eat, not the process of trying to lose weight. Having said that, now for what I am thinking. I was just saying to my wife (snooks1971 on here) today. It is amazing how things change with our diet. Just a couple of weeks ago we considered it normal to be eating far too many calories. Far more than we knew we were eating. For example, my first calculation resulted in about 3000 cal for the day. That was a day of less eating than I often did before. Her first calculation resulted in (breakfast alone) of about 1000 to 1200 cal for a typical breakfast in her truck (long haul truck drivers).
However, the last several days, I have noticed that when ending my day and viewing my final calorie totals, I am having trouble making my minimum calorie range sparkpeople has calculated for me. For the record, my minimum total is significantly less than I would eat in the past for an entire day. I am now having to choose to eat more than I want in order to just get to a safe calorie range, knowing that 1200 cal (eating less burned exercising) is a minimum recommended by articles here on sparkpeople.
I am now eating as much as I choose to eat and finding it too few calories compared to before I ate too many calories and was still occasionally hungry for more. lol amazing.
