I went on a vacation with my hubby and daughter last week. We stayed 2 nights at a waterpark resort in the Wisconsin Dells, then drove to IL to see family. We ate out every day of the trip, I was off-line and not tracking my nutrition, and only worked-out one day.
The results: I lost 1.2 pounds!
How did I do it? I said "No thank you."
I was offered cinnamon rolls with cream cheese, decadent desserts on the restaurant menus, homemade iced sugar cookies, brownies, and a wide assortment of other "treats." And I said "No thank you."
It's not always easy to say, and today I was faced with another challenge. At work, we had a scrumptious free catered meal, and I passed and ate the healthy lunch I packed. I'm glad I did.
Those three easy words are sometimes hard to say, but I'm glad every time I do.
