emotions and eating

Ive noticed a definite trend in that i over eat when ever there is something wrong with my emotions... by that i mean unhappy sad, etc. But recently i have decided to do something about it. Its not any good to exercise and stick to a sensible diet over the week and then during the course of two days throw it all away binge eating. I have a number of strategies to cope now and so far they seem to be working. They include
3. Exercise even when i dont feel like it, i always feel so much better afterward.
4. Dont stock anything that may lead to temptation and
5. Indulge yourself once in a while
Im proud to say i just had a piece of chocolate as opposed to eating the whole large bar and guzzling down soda... and i actually savored the taste too... Yey me!!!
