Feeling good about myself again

Hello to all The last time I entered a blog entry, I was a bit down that I had reverted back to old ways. Gained some of the weight back that I worked so hard to lose and was snacking and not exercising. Well, here i am a few weeks later and I am pleased with the progress that I've made so far. I found a great person here on Sparkpeople to help me with my goals and I have a joined the 10 minute a day challenge IS helping. Yesterday was a brutal day for work. I work at my desk in my home as my office and I hit the day off running. From 6:30 am yesterday to almost 4:30 last night the phone was ringing, emails were coming in and there was administrative work to be done, which I admit, I do put off until the last minute and still have more to do. I did eat well and stayed well within the goals BUT I truly thought that there was no why I was going to find time to get in a session of exercise. It was late, I was getting tired so... When all was said and done for the day it was close to 7:00 pm. I sat for about 20 minutes and played games on the computer and then I said to myself.... "If you don't get up and do this for yourself, then who will?" This thought kept going around and around in my brain.... I went down in the basement and got on my elliptical and found that 10 minutes that I didn't think I had. It energized me, helped me not to mindlessly snack the tightness in my legs subsided and I must admit felt good from both a physical standpoint and a mental standpoint as well. So now, the next morning, at again, close to 6:30 am again, I feel good about myself. Ready to face the day and fit in those 10 minutes somewhere along the way. emoticon emoticon emoticon

    Way to go! I think all of us could find 10 minutes a day to take care of ourselves. Sounds like an awsome challenge. Keep up the great work!
