Although the service was excellent, the menu offerings varied and the prices reasonable, the food itself was just ok. Having read a review we knew to order our dish spicy, since they tend to run on the mild side and we like spicy and hot. The only somewhat spicy item on the entree was the dah (lentils.) The coconut chicken didn't have a bit of spice, although was flavorful. The vegetarian appetizer was flavorful and abundant and between that and the one entree we shared, we were full and had leftovers (enough for lunch today.)
Love Child is a two-person, 20+ part play that was often confusing, sometimes funny and definitely needed a pause at the end for the audience to digest the outcome. All of the lines throughout the play were delivered at high speed including the conclusion and although we "got" what happened, it would have had more impact if we'd gotten the binding pieces of the story in bits instead of one non-stop monologue. This was only the 3rd night of the play, but the actors knew their lines (including the varied voices and mannerisms) flawlessly.
