Easy Day

Monday, June 07, 2010

I got out by 6:00 this morning, and it was 86 degrees and humid, but light enough to see. I was day-dreaming and walked by 15th street, and didn't realize it until I was a long way past, so I wound up with 3 1/4 miles in 70 minutes. When I got home at 7:10 it was 88 degrees, and I had a shower and shaved before breakfast. Fortunately I didn't have to cut the grass today, because it was really miserable.

I went along with Ace to the Walmart - she picked up a prescription and I got another set of rubber band exercisers. I had a set, but the last time I cleaned up I realized that I hadn't used them for a long time, probably never would, and dropped them in the trash. Now I'm willing to go back to the rehab exercises, but not the weight ones. It takes too long to recover when you mess up your joints.

For no good reason I was tired today, but I did get everything ready for the safe driving class tomorrow, and called all the prospective attendees to remind them once more of their responsibilities. With luck they'll all show up. I also put everything in the trunk of my car, so I'm ready to go over and set things up tomorrow morning. Now I'm done for today.

Oh yes - I was just below the minimum number of calories that SparkPeople think I should have if I eat another container of yogurt, so I need to have a snack before I go to bed. Then I'm done.

Bill said it was too hot today. I love looking at the sunshine but it is hard to breathe out there now.
I think you do great with your exercising and your eating. I wish I could do half as good.
Hope you get some good rest tonight.
