Enjoying my Weekend

Reading, gardening, piano...enjoying my weekend
1. Saturday was a rainy day: I read the book "Women, Food, and God" by Geneen Roth. While interesting, it was not what I had expected. Have any of you read this book? Certainly, there are parts that I can take from this book and incorporate into my journey, but the spiritual aspect was not what I had expected.

2. Playing the piano or organ relaxes me. While playing and interpreting the music, I'm taken to a different plane. My soul soars....I experience the music, I see images, I paint a picture! Ah......

3. The sun returned today along with summer's warm breezes. I spent 5 hours outdoors in tune with nature and my gardens. The resplendent colors, the fragrances, the feel of the rich earth are such a delight, a blessing, a gift! God is good!

Haven't read the book yet, Chrys, though I have seen it and was intrigued by the title.
Glad for your happiness playing the piano. I love that it transports you. I have some favorite CDs that do the same for me.
Plants are a gift from nature.
Hoping your dh is feeling better with each day that passes.
Your postive attitude is an inspiration.

Oh those are three things I love, too. We spent quite a bit of time yesterday finishing up the mulch and plantings for the summer. It was a perfect day here with fairly cool temps and lots of sun emoticon

As for the has gotten me through lots of joys and sorrows. You can just pour your heart out. Music is indeed, good for the soul.

Hope today is just as enjoyable for you.
