Yard Work II

I slept in today and didn't get up until almost 7. According to my thermometer, it was 86 degrees at 7 AM, the sky was overcast, and the grass was completely dry. I decided that today was the day to cut it, and the earlier the better because both yesterday and today had a 50 per cent chance of rain. I got started at 8:15 and finished at 9:50, so I got it done a half hour early. The saved time was because I didn't stop to dig up any sand burrs that I saw - just kept cutting the grass. When I finished everything I was wearing was soaked - sweat band for the head, shirt socks, and pants (except for a few dry spots on the legs). Then I finished off by picking up stuff and putting it back in the shed, letting Ace run the weed eater, cutting up a couple of old 30 gallon garbage cans, and doing a few more chores Adrienne had. I had another shower and shaved and put on all dry clothes before lunch. After lunch we went to Home Depot for wing nuts, pails, spray bottles, and lime remover.
Then I caught up with the SparkPeople entries. Now I'm getting ready for supper. I feel better now, but I was really tired when we bot back from Home Depot. A while in a recliner with a book is a good refresher, I guess.
