So when I bought the house 5 yrs ago (omg can't believe its been that long) the porch had the ugliest red cheap carpet on it. Really who in their right mind puts carpet on a porch?? And under that carpet was 2 layers of linoleum. After removing that I found the best part wood floor. Back in the day it was acceptable to only use tonge and groove boards 1/2 in with nothing else. Now you are supposed to put 3/4 in plywood for support under it. Since it was rotted in the corners and the supports are bad. I am now tearing it all out and re-do ing it.
