Gracious Father, we often act before we pray. Help us to inquire always of You first before we take action. We don't want to assume that because You instruct us in certain ways, that we will succeed in whatever it is we seek to do. Help us not to mistakely think that we have all the answers to life, even if events are ones we have experienced before. Let us always seek your word and guidance.
