Well, here goes. This is my first blog. Hopefully, there will be something worthwhile it in.
2 Cor 12:9 (NIV) - But He said to me, "My grace is sufficent for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." When I first started having trouble with rheumatoid arthritis and could hardly move, I clung to this verse. Through the years it seems as though God has been teaching me about what the first part meant. It was as though grace was the means by which He held my life together and saw me through each day. It was not until I started this journey to become healthier that He began to teach me about the second part of the verse, "for my power is made perfect in weakness." I am beginning to learn to run to Him for the strength I need to eat better and am learning how to turn control over to Him.
I pray these are lessons I will not have to learn over and over, but will be things that will remain with me until I see Him face to face.
