Smile...life is awesome!

Saturday, May 29, 2010

It's the last Silly Saturday day for the month of May already! I like Silly Saturdays. I enjoy checking out the the challenge to see what bits of laughter have been left for the rest of us to enjoy. There is nothing like finding a moment in your day to share a smile, a chuckle or an outright laugh!

I managed to ignore the cat for a couple of extra hours this morning. She of course, did not see why I was not getting up at my usual time...her breakfast time in her world. She eventually decided that if I wasn't going to get up and feed her (her dish had food in in, but she won't eat if someone is not in the kitchen with her), she might as well make my lying in bed a tad uncomfortable. She proceeded to lie on top of me. This way every time I made a move, she was ready to jump up and have breakfast! Crazy cat!

It's raining again this morning. We've gone from extremely dry ground conditions to seemingly "always" wet conditions. The grass is sure a lovely shade of green now though and the leaves are fully opened on the trees. So far, my outdoor plants are surviving the dip in temperature and managing to still look alive. YAY!

Garry has today off work, so I think we will be having a lazy day...no yard work, in otherwords due to the weather. We'll most likely head into the city for shopping for things, but other than that...just a nice lazy day!

My Positives:
The lovely shades of green that have replaced the dry, brown colors outdoors.
Time to spend with Garry.
A couple of extra hours of lying in this morning.
Laundry almost finished.
Kaeli will be home tomorrow.
Life...it's just filled with blessings!

Have a wonderful Silly Saturday, take the time to find those moments of smiles, chuckles and laughter.
