6 Week Body Makeover Meals

Friday, May 28, 2010

This is my fourth try trying to stay on the 6 week body makeover. I have been working this menu up and down trying to see if I can do it and get some results.

.
Breakfast & Mid-Morning Snack
2oz protein A: Fish
2oz protein B: Chicken
c mixed fruit: Strawberry and Blackberry
1/4c fruit B: Banana

*Due to hypoglycemia, the diet plan recommends that I eat fruit rather than salad /green veggies to avoid hypoglycemia

Lunch & Dinner
2oz protein A: Fish
2oz protein B: Chicken
1/2c Carb A: Potato
1/2c Carb B: Brown Rice
1c Salad

Mid-Afternoon Snack
2oz protein A: Fish
2oz protein B: Chicken
1/2c Carb A:
1/2c Carb B:

After -Dinner Snack:
Mixed Berries

----------------------------
----

Carb A choices are:
Jicama
Parsnips/Turnips
Potato
Rutabegas
Squash
Sweet Potato

Carb B choices are:
Barley
Millet
Oatmeal
Rice (white or brown)
Rice Noodles

Ok, for extremely rapid weight loss I should consume meat and greens at each meal, and adding rice for lunch and a grapefruit with meat only for dinner. I am finding that it is easier for me to eat the salads with protein at each meal than it is to incorporate the fruit and carb choices. Which is similar to the South Beach diet when I was in the "Zone". Currently my taste buds are used to junk after the pregnancy so each of these diet lifestyles is feeling a bit constricted to me. I will be working this for a few more weeks, since I have been able to control my appetite eating this way.

I am thinking that my recipe for results is

Here to wish you luck emoticon ...the menu sounds delicious. I've never been on the Michael Thurmond 6-week Plan, so don't have anything to say about it, except to listen to your body. If parts work and other's don't, take what works and move on to build the rest of the plan that will work for you not just in the short run but for your new lifestyle...You'll know if it's working for you!...Keeping pushing!

Yes this is the Michael Thurmond 6 week body Make-over. I think it is pretty strict. I guess that the recommended 20 minute body sculpting exercises are all your body can handle after being so disciplined.

Is this the 6-week Body Makover by Michael Thurmond? I was on that in 2000 and did lose quite a bit a weight, but gained it all back within a year or so. You can lose with it and keep it off if you are diligent. Good Luck.

I didn't like the program AT all. I am hypoglycemic and the reverse of what they say is what I found to be valid. I eat plenty and all of it is whole foods. No meat! Yea!

Good luck! Brutal diet, but it works! I followed the 6WBMO two years ago for the entire summer. Lost 20 lbs and kept it off! I'm back on the quest to go another 20. Couldn't bring myself to do the BMO again, and my hubby's on board this time, so I'm doing WW and working towards healthier versions of what we normally eat.

Good luck! It actually looks really good! Which one specifically is it because maybe I will look into it too. I need to do something to get my eating back on track!

This 6-week plan sounds similar to the Michael Thurmond 6-Week Plan. I found that plan doubled as a cleanse to purge junk from my system. Good luck!
