This isn't really for anyone else. I'm just rambling and need to get some thoughts out. I haven't done much sparking lately. It's a vicious cycle. I get tired one night so I don't exercise, but exercise will make me feel better. Once I get out of the habit of exercise, it's hard for me to get back into it. Although I know how good it is for me. The past two weeks I haven't worked out on the Wii at all and have done maybe 2 Spark routines. We have gone for walks in the evening though. At least I haven't gained any weight back. I am still doing well with the food part. And drinking 8 glasses of water is just a no-brainer now, it's just part of my life. We got a water cooler from a local company, so we no longer buy bottled water. Good for the environment, our pocketbooks and our health!
Today I had my yearly check-up with one of my doctors. It's been almost a year to the day I saw her last - May 22, 2009 was last year's appt. Well, I know I've lost 17 pounds with Spark since Feb. 2010. I just had no idea I've LOST 28 LBS IN THE LAST YEAR! Wow! I was shocked but so pleasantly surprised. I wanted to do a happy dance. :) My blood pressure has been the best it's been in years also. My dr. gave me a little round of applause she's so proud of my weight loss. I don't know if I forgot how much I weighed this time last year or just blocked it out. I did go back tonight and look at pics from then. I do see some difference.
So writing this has helped me get back "in the zone." I'm ready to get Sparking again!
