Class started back up and in a big way! Felt overloaded last week and not paying attention to what I was eating or anything! Also, unable to really workout because of the gal bladder surgery and still being on 'light duty' for two-four more weeks. So.... gotta get back on track.
Joined Golds gym as they had a good special going on. This way I can track better and it is so hot- outside walking is either a VERY early or late thing. My road is too dark and dangerous for much of that. Off to the gym I go yesterday- to get moving! I did a 5K on the treadmill, in my best time yet at 50 minutes. Felt good, a little dizzy when I got off the machine, went and drank the handy dandy protein shake I brought. Felt good until today, when I woke up with shin splints. Then felt stupid, as I should have known better. LOL Life's ups and downs. So, shorter (2 mile) walk tomorrow and then working all weekend-doubles. I don't workout when I have doubles- as I am on my feet almost all day. Monday, I have a 2 mile walk planned as well. Then, it's back to a 5K on Wednesday. SIGH I wonder if this is considered lioght duty enough? I am not picking up anything heavy.
