Baking Day

It's baking day and I thought I'd make the most of heating the oven since it is near 90 degrees out. So most of this goes into the freezer and it will take me a long time to eat it. These are from Peter Rhinehart's books. Two of them are transitional breads (50white/50wheat) and are just 'try-its' for me because I am going to move on to the whole grain breads. The long ones are sourdough for company and my 'white bread' friends. I've had three skinny pieces and that will be it for today. In the freezer are broombread, siegel rye, and Seeded German Rye....the whole grain thing.

Guess I'll be getting lots of biking in this weekend and burning carbs.
