C - Chore you hate: It would be easier to list a chore I like, but I can't really think of one. The one I hate most is probably dusting. It makes me sneeze.

D - Dog's name: Honey; the best golden retriever who ever lived.

E - Essential start your day item: Coffee, coffee, coffee...and breakfast. Did I mention that I must have coffee?

F - Favorite color: Can't pick; I love all colors and the way they play off each other. Pastels are not my favorites, though.

O - Overnight hospital stay other than birth: none for me. I spent a couple of nights with my daughter when she was a baby being treated for a tumor in her eye.

P - Pet Peeve: Waitresses who are younger than me who call me "Honey." I'm not their honey; they don't even know me.

S - Siblings: Two younger brothers (Yes, I was the bossy big sis.)

V - Vegetable you dislike: I can't think of one I don't like, but cucumbers don't like me!

W - Ways you run late: You name it, it makes me late. I'm always trying to squeeze one more "thing to do" in before I leave.

X - X-rays you've had: Teeth, mammograms, and sinuses

Y - Yummy food you make: I cook because I have to; my husband enjoys cooking far more than me. I do make some pretty good soups, though: chicken corn soup, potato, beef barley, and split pea soup (my personal favorite.)

Z - Zoo favorite: I'd rather watch zoo animals on my HD TV, so I can observe them in their natural habitat. In that case, it would be hard to choose a favorite, but I might go with a lion, for its beauty and power.
